DEPOSIT MY CHANGE
It's 7 p.m., do you know where your spare change is?
Chances are there is a meaningful amount of spare change sitting in a car cup holder, a coin jar, or in a container sitting on a dresser. There’s also a decent amount of coins completely lost.
If these coins were bills, they would be kept in a wallet (or a safe) and put to use. But they are not bills, they are coins, and they are going unused. Your money is going to waste. Literally.
What Happens To Lost Change Anyway?
Check out this great video from Reporter/Host Oyin Adedoyin from the Wall Street Journal for information about what happens to lost change.
@wallstreetjournal What happens to all the loose change we throw out? WSJ reporter Oyin Adedoyin went to a waste management facility to see what happens to the quarters, nickels, dimes and pennies that get tossed. The Problem
More than likely, this spare change came about because of a cash purchase. The spare change was placed in a pocket, a purse, or carried to the car and tossed in the cup holder.
What If?
What if there was a way to make a cash purchase in such a way that your change back was securely and automatically deposited into an account of your choosing, such as your savings account?
Well now there is. Check out our patents to learn more.
